Skill India: Trends and Job opportunities for EEE/ECE professionals
To be successful in career, it is very important to stay updated about the career opportunities, new technologies and job trends in the field we are into. As far as the ECE/EEE students are concerned, there are multiple jobs opening up under “Skill India”, an initiative by Government of India. As a part of our DISHA series, we had Mr. Srinivas (Head of South India) who shared his perspectives on the job market with our students. Mr. Srinivas’s talk on “Skill India” & “Make in India” initiatives brought in a completely different view on job opportunity oriented queries.

Mr. Srinivas also shared some of the statistics of “Make in India”, which brought in a big surprise among our students, when they looked into the real number of job opportunities created through it. The speaker also explained the advanced use case of IoT by explaining how middle-eastern countries are using it to gain maximum advantage by generating electricity using solar power.

This DISHA session was a wonderful opportunity for all of us, since we were able to listen directly somebody from central government who is heavily involved in skill-building activities. We are very happy that we are the first embedded training institute to be affiliated with “Skill India”.
