The training will mainly be based on micro controller kits (8051/PIC based) along with required tool set. These kits are custom-designed by Emertxe for students.
Starting from introduction to embedded systems, this program covers the following technical areas:
Introduction to micro-controllers (8051 and PICs) with architecture
Hardware concepts involved on the board
Reading and interpreting data-sheets
Programming micro-controllers:
Input/Output using different peripherals
LEDs
Seven Segment Displays
Switches
Timers
Serial port (RS232) programming
Interrupt programming
How to build automation solutions?
Hands-on approach with 80% of the contents executed over the custom built hardware.
The workshop will be handled by domain experts, who have experience of building real time systems.
At the end of the workshop, students will be able to get a very good grasp of programming the real hardware. They also will be equipped to develop multiple projects using any micro controllers.
